Job Position: CAD Design Engineer

Core Purpose
- To create detailed 3D models, mechanical assemblies, and production drawings for UAV/drone airframes and structural components optimized for manufacturing and physical assembly.
Key Responsibilities & Technical Expectations
- 3D Modeling & Drafting: Design detailed 3D parts, complex hierarchical assemblies, and standard 2D engineering drawings using industry-standard CAD platforms.
- Structural & Mechanical Layout: Design UAV airframe components, selecting appropriate materials, fasteners, structural layouts, and manufacturing tolerances.
- Prototyping & Manufacturing Support: Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles across 3D printing, CNC machining, and composite fabrication workflows.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Candidates should possess an ND/HND in Mechanical, Aerospace/Aeronautical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. Fresh graduates with strong CAD portfolios are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Software Suite: Proficiency in standard CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, Fusion 360, or equivalent).
- Practical Skills: Hands-on experience with UAVs, RC aircraft, robotics, or rapid mechanical prototyping; solid understanding of DFM/DFA and fabrication techniques.
- Core Competencies: High attention to geometric detail, strong problem-solving mindset, effective technical communication, and team collaboration.
